It is our great honor and privilege to introduce to you all the Year of Love.
For many years the Roman Catholic Church has created Jubilee years celebrating various aspects of Christian life. Many of our parishes and even our national church has participate in some of these year-long celebrations. This year, our Synod decided to introduce our own Jubilee year entitled the Year of Love.
Throughout the year we will be releasing materials that can be used to promote and celebrate this Year of Love. All parishes and even other Jurisdictions in the Independent Movement are welcome to use these materials with one caveat: All materials carry a simple statement on them that reads “Brought to you with hope and love by the Old Catholic Churches International.” As long as this statement remains on the materials, you are free to use them without charge and with our blessings. If you wish to remove the statement, please contact us for permission first.
The Year of Love begins with the First Sunday of Advent (November 27, 2016) and ends on the Solemnity of Christ the King (November 26, 2017).
